Principles of Training Today's Lesson PAR-Q's Goal Setting What you need to do for P6 Today you should understand; Any one know what PAR-Q stands for Can be broken down into 3 types of goals You will need to create a 6 week plan based around your original results What a PAR-Q is and it's purpose Different types of goal setting and how to goal set correctly What the principles of training are What is meant by exercise intensity What is meant by appropriate activities Physical activity readiness questionnaire In your groups I want you to think of questions that you think you would need in a PAR-Q -Short Term

Cardiovascular training
Speed training
Resistance training To do this you can compare your results to either fitness tests within the UPS or social norms. Once you have chosen a component of fitness you will create a 6 week plan that will improve that component of fitness
