Transcript of spinosaurus
by michael VIDEOS scary video this is just a video about how life was for a herbivore and this is where they find fossils of most dinosaurs at 150 million years ago there was a death trap lake here in North America!!! Spinosaurus gives its name to the Spinosauridae family of dinosaurs, which includes two subfamilies: Baryonychinae and Spinosaurinae. The Baryonychinae include Baryonyx from southern England and Suchomimus from Niger in central Africa. The Spinosaurinae include Spinosaurus, Irritator from Brazil, and Angaturam from Brazil. The Spinosaurinae share straight teeth that are widely spaced , as opposed to the Baryonychinae which have curved teeth that are numerous Relatives of the spinosaurus Irritator Baryonyx Suchomimus Angaturam Suchomimus size camparison Irritator size comparison Angaturam size comparison Spinosaurus Facts bout the spinosaurus •The Spinosaurus is considered as not only the biggest dinosaur, but also the largest predator species of all land animals of the Cretaceous period.
•The reason Spinosaurus having a long skull was that the creature had to feed on fish for survival in the coastal region. Along with a diet of fish in coastal regions, Spinosaurus also ate the other, smaller dinosaurs.
•Front legs of this dinosaur were longer in comparison to that of Tyrannosaurus Rex. Scientists have been thinking on the possibility that Spinosaurus were together on certain occasions.
•Speculations about this dinosaur being packed in groups got reinforced by the discovery of Brayonyx. The Baryonyx was related to the Spinosaurus and it had small arms.
•Spinosaurus appeared in a Hollywood movie, Jurassic Park III. According to John R. Horner, the consulting paleontologist for this film, Spinosaurus was more of a scavenger than being an animal with hunting skills.

These original remains were sadly destroyed in an Allied bombing run over Berlin during World War II, but additional skull material has come to light in recent years The Spinosaurus Habitat Most spinosaurus finds have been from the Sahara Desert in North Africa. Finds have also been reported from South America. Morocco has produced more than its fair share of spinosaur skeletons. About 100 million years ago in the early part of the Cretaceous Period when spinosaurs walked the earth North Africa was much more a tropical climate than at present. There were rivers, lakes, and wetlands in what is now the Sahara Desert This is a tribute to the largest meat
