The '50s is known for the use of dresses that the females wore - Usually knee to below the length.

wanted things to be.

This war started when Hitler invasion of Poland in about 1939.
World War II started a revolution, unlike WWI, WWII had radios to communicate to people with, increasing the amount of music listeners. (America Goes to War)

During the late 1950s to early 1960s, Americans knew little about U.S. involvement in Vietnam.
Most Americans supported the war during the 50s and early 60s, however after more and more trooper were being sent out, a growing number of voices were speaking out.

1954-1975 is when the Vietnam War was in place.
The presidential election in 1968 between Democrat Hubert Humphrey and Richard Nixon. Both of them pledged to end the Vietnam War.

Houses in the 70's had more of a "hot" (red, orange) hue, rather than a "cold" (blues/green) hue.

Everyone knows this famous band: Aerosmith.
Aerosmith started making music in the 1980's to help improve the genre of music that Elvis Presley set in place in the 1960s.

McDonald's were put on its ever-expanding menu in 1981, changing the lives of children everywhere.
