Fun Raiser More Americans lost health insurance between 2008 and 2009 than during any other year in the country’s history. In America, health care is not a right. There’s nothing funny about it, unless you want to get into the dental tactics employed by un-certified backwoods orthodontists. Education Shelter Last year, 1.5 million Americans experienced homelessness, according to the US Department of Housing and Urban Development. That’s 1.5 million too many. A way we could help is by donating money to homeless shelters, so they could possibly house more homeless people. Or donate money to build houses for the homeless. How about this far? Let's take a look at some information on poverty: LifeStyle This picture is showing poverty and the conditions homeless families have to live in. The picture comes from Colombia. What is Poverty? Survey Data Poverty is living without the basic needs that many others enjoy. People who live in poverty worry about things like having enough food to feed thier families and having a safe sercure shelter in which to live. One large cause that people don't know about is unequality, which many have said is the second-largest cause of poverty. People who are treated bad, or "different", or even women in different countries that have too little rights are examples of this. Try to think of a way to reverse this. http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/10-solutions-to-end-poverty/
