Cell Phones and how they've become a part of today.
By: Samantha Raisbeck Nokia Impact Nokia came out with their first phone in 1996. The First Cell phone was introduced in 1973. It was called the DynaTac phone
made by Motorola.

It sold for
$3,500! However, it was not on sale for the general public. It was the first cell phone to access wireless internet connection. The phone wasn't very sleek. It was big and blocky. The Phone was invented by Martin Cooper 1971 AT&T is the first company to propose a modern-day mobile-phone system to the FCC. It involves dividing cities into “cells”. It is the first company to do so. 1973 Dr. Martin Cooper invents the first personal handset while working for Motorola. He takes his new invention, the Motorola Dyna-Tac., to New York City and shows it to the public 1975 AT&T adapts its own cellular plan for the city of Chicago, but the FCC is still uneasy about putting the plan into action. They have concerns about its success. 2002 – Danger Hiptop/T-Mobile Sidekick is released 2003 – Mobile business users get treated to the Palm Treo 600. 2005 - The music cell phone is created. 2007- Apple iPhone 2G is released.
