people nearby breathe in bacteria and are infected TB is NOT spread by.. shaking someones hand

Latent TB Infection has no symptoms
does not feel sick
cannot spread TB bacteria
has a skin/blood test indicating pos. TB
has normal chest x-rays TB Infection bad cough

may spread TB bacteria

Pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) is a contagious bacterial infection that mainly involves the lungs, but may spread to other organs.
