Snow Leopard
Caleb Basney

The reason I am here today is to tell you about the Snow Leopard which is a beautiful animal that belongs here on Earth. But that might not be possible do to the fact that people are erasing them from history, I will tell you why and how but first I want to tell you about the Snow Leopard how it lives and what lives with them.
First let's talk about its scientific name, its Panthra uncia but it turns out that Snow Leopards are actually part of the tiger family rather than the leopard family now that's weird.
Ok it is time to at its diet, its diet consists of Ram,mice, birds, hare, boar, wild sheep, deer, markhor, bobak. But like other cats they also eat vegetation like grass and twigs.Their water source comes from melting snow in the mountains that form pools of water for the Leopards. Now for where they live, They live 9,800 to 18,000 feet in the Himalaya mountains in India,China, and Nepal. The weather up there is some times a low of -20 too -30 too a high of 50-60 to its average of 20. It was always cold in Himalayas but now because of Global warming it is warm most of the time now. Fact: The type of rock the Himalayas are made of is sedimentary and metamorphic rock. Now we are going to talk about what lives with the Snow Leopard in its rock home,The kinds of plants that live with it. I picked a few plants to show you out of many and these are the ones I wanted to show you. The first one I am going to show you is the tulip this plant lives low in the mountain but it still grows very nicely to be picked by the natives. Cyananthus is the next plant I wanted to show it is a strange yet beautiful flower it lives high in the Himalayas it reporduces by losing its leafs every wither then in the spring they get cought by the wind and fly up the moutain or down it then they grow. This is every day grass it just lives low in the mountains and is eaten by every day goats, boar, deer, and Bobok Now we are going to talk about the consumers that live in the mountains as well.(sorry about some of the images there where none of some of them in the mountain.) First let's look at some of the animals I have choose for this. Hare Asian Crane Ram Bobak Snow Leopard (of course.) Decomposers The only decomposers that live there are the lynx and Pinwood Bettle and I am going to show you them now.
Fact: Snow Leopards drag their food up to high so that
Lynx can't eat it. Humans are changing the way that Snow Leopards live which is is killing them slowly from hunger. People are also killing them for their fur which is not right. People made Leopards live high in the mountains where there is no food to eat so they die. These are the things that suport my idea that the Snow Leopard needs help from all of us to stay alive. So please read the things I have leard about the things that people do to the Snow Leopard. People kill them just because the Leopards are hungry and try to get food from their farm even though the government will give them money to buy a new cow but they still kill them. But now these days they would be punished for killing Snow Leopards . Weather Snow in the winter,Snow in the spring, but in the summer some of the snow melts and it rains there for a some time. And that was the weather and time of year. This was my Prezi and I thank you for whaching The End
