How have the Challenger, Camaro, and Mustang changed from the
early muscle car models have simpler engines
new models have computerized engines and transmissions
computer-controlled fuel injection instead of a carburetor
new models have bigger body size
newest models have more horsepower
went from 375 horsepower (1st gen mustang) to 662 hp (5th gen Shelby GT500)
the 70's cars only have around 120 hp
Muscle cars were first invented by moonshine runners in the 1920s during Prohibition.
These moonshine runners modified their cars so they could transport alcohol and outrun the police.

When Prohibition was over, moonshine runners used their cars for racing.
