Transcript of Milking Machine

The Milking Machine Invented by Anna Baldwin in 1878 The milking machine is made out of 6 or 8 cup like tubes, that are connected to hoses that suck the milk out of the cows utters. This doesn't hurt the cow though. While the cow is being milked the cup like attachment it creates a vaccum like seal around the utter. Then the milk is sucked up into containers where the milk will later be collected. The first succesful version sold commercially was invented by a man with the name of Carl Gustav de Laval, a Swedish engineer. He developed the first commercially successful machine. This device was on sale to the public from 1918 onwards.
