by Suzanne Collins Mockingjay is the third and last book in the Hunger Games series. MOCKINGJAY The setting is in the country called Panem, in a place formerly known as North America. Katniss's home district, District 12, was destroyed by the Capitol's firebombs, so the survivors have to go to District 13, the district everyone thought was destroyed. Setting This is District 12
before it was destroyed. The genre of Mockingjay is Fiction, because the events in it have not happened and cannot happen. (probably) Genre There are a lot of main characters in this book. They are Katniss, Peeta, Gale, Haymitch, Boggs, Finnick, Prim, President Snow, President Coin, Beetee, Johanna, Annie, Plutarch, Cressida, and many others. Characters Mockingjay is about Katniss Everdeen and her war against the Capitol. District 12 is where her home is. But, it is destroyed by the Capitol after a rebellion that Katniss started. Katniss has a hard time dealing with all the people that were close to her dying because of President Snow.
After President Coin gets the majority of all the districts on the rebels' side, they invade the Capitol. They want to get to President Snow's mansion, so they can execute him. Once he is out in public, tied up, Katniss will shoot an arrow to kill him. But then, she shoots someone else instead...

By the way, a lot of people die in this book, so prepared to be really sad when you READ IT! Summary There were a lot of similes in this book, but since I read it on my Kindle, I don't know the page number.

Figurative Language I thought this book was great, and it was really detailed, which I like. I thought the ending was kind of sad, but I mostly liked the whole thing. Evaluation ***** FIVE STARS! I think everyone should read this book
if they haven't already! But don't start with this one! It's the 3rd one! Start with the first, then second. I ALSO THINK MY MOM SHOULD READ THIS AFTER SHE FINISHES CHAPTER ONE OF THE FIRST BOOK. Book Recommendation PREZI BY JORY WALLS PRIM??? JORY, WHO'S THAT I'M DONE! END HAHA ewwww, peeta. :U
