Transcript of Night

Elie Wiesel Elie's writing style feels very journalistic.
The Book feels almost like an article. He's strait to the point
with short easy sentences. The recurring themes are his increasing disgust with mankind and his loss of faith in God. He is has no emotion in his writing, he is emo. Elie writes this way so you have the emotion and dont share his resentment. "Not far from us, flames were leaping from a ditch, gigantic flames. They werre burning something. A lorry drew up fromhe pit and delivered its load-little children...babies! yes I saw it-saw it with my own eyes. There is children in the flames." "never shall i forget those moments which murdered my god and my soul and turned my reams to dust." "oh god, lord of the universe, take pity upon us in the great mercy..."
