Transcript of Marvel's The Avengers

Marvel's The Avengers is a movie about multiple superheroes from different comics brought together to form the ultimate team in order to stop forces that Earth's normal armies cannot. The Movie Tony Stark is one of the most brilliant minds of the modern day. He used to be the U.S. military's primary weapons contractor, until an incident occured in which he was kidnapped while on business in the Middle East by terrorists using his own weapons against him. It was then he realized that he had to stop people from using his weapons for the wrong purpose and then Iron Man was born. The most technologically advanced battle armor that anyone has ever seen. Iron Man (Tony Stark) After an accident involving gamma radiation, whenever Bruce Banner's heart rate exceeds 200 bpm he transforms into the Incredible Hulk, a being of complete destruction who's anger is proportionate to his strength. Since the accident, the U.S. military had been chasing him to try to unlock the key to his power. Adding him to the Avengers roster is sure to be a challenge. The Hulk (Dr. Bruce Banner) Thor is the Norse God of thunder and lives in the realm of Asgard. Once, he was banished to Earth by his father, Odin, for his arrogance and recklessness. After learning the error of his ways, Thor had to return to Asgard to stop his son, Loki, from destroying an entire race. He has since returned to Earth to join the Avengers in order to stop his brother once again and an army of an unknown alien race. Thor Steve Rogers was once a scrawny kid from Brooklyn during WWII. After proving himself he was admitted into the super soldier program which gave him the ability to go to war like he always wanted to. He had to defeat the head of the Nazi organization HYDRA ran by Johan Schmidt aka the Red Skull. After stopping him from destroying the United States, he crash landed in Northern Canada where he was frozen for almost 70 years and woken up today to join the Avengers. Captain America (Steve Rogers) Clint Barton is a highly trained S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who prefers to use a bow over a gun. He has enhanced reflexes and incredible marksmanship. Because of his skills, he has been hand picked to join the Avengers. Hawkeye (Clint Barton) Natasha has a number of aliases. She is highly trained in hand-to-had combat and uses a number of gadgets in order to incapacitate her opponents. She used be undercover as Tony Stark's assistant in order to see if he was really up to the task of joining the Avengers. Now she is part of them. Black Widow (Natasha Romanoff) Nick Fury is the director of S.H.I.E.L.D., he started what's known as the Avengers Initiative. He started by recruiting Iron Man, then Hulk, and then Captain America. Let's hope that this randomly gathered group of superheroes can learn to work together. Colonel Nick Fury I created this because I love comic books and The Avengers movie was one of the best comic book adaptations I've ever seen. Marvel Studios makes the absolute best movie adaptations of their comics, unlike 20th Century Fox and Sony. Created By Matt Riley
