The History Of
Disneyland Breanna Buhay Kyrell Ringpis Disneyland Resort is in Anaheim, California. Disney's initial idea was to build a park near his Burbank studio for his employees and their families, but those plans changed over time and his dream grew. His plan originally called for a 9 million dollar 45-acre park, but by opening day the park covered 160 acres and had cost 17 million. 160 acres of those sleepy orange groves around Anaheim in 1954 were bought to host his "Magic Kingdom." Geography Disneyland was created as the first official theme park, more parks were created revolving around a specific top. Nowadays, people look at entertainment differently in amusement parks, and are more fascinated when it has a unique theme. This is why some of the first small un-themed parks quickly went out of business, due to the fact that people now look find them so much duller than theme parks we have now.
Today, there are 11 Disneylands, including a Disneyworld in Florida, around the world. As well as popularity rose, so did the prices for everything. Ticket options increased, and now can be well over $100 rather than the original $1. Impact on the World -Disneyland was created by Walt Disney and became the theme park built in America

-Construction took exactly 364 days, along with 17.5 million dollars, to officially open on July 17, 1955. This day was known as 'Black Sunday' because it was such a failure. Rides broke down and there were no water fountains available for the public.

-Tickets were originally $1 per ride The Beginning (California) Disneyland Park, better known as just Disneyland, is California’s most famous theme park. We chose the topic because we not only love the happiest place on earth, but we also believe that we could tell you something you never knew about it. The creator, Walt Disney, decided to create this park and dedicate it to the Disney characters and fairytales he created. Over 50 years later, Disneyland is still as successful as it was in the beginning. Disneyland made our time today is that it caused other major theme parks to be built. After Disneyland was created as the first official theme park, more parks were created revolving around a specific top. For example, SeaWorld was built and is themed with the wildlife of sea creatures. Nowadays, people look at entertainment differently in amusement parks, and are more fascinated when it has a unique theme.
