Controlled Experiment Experiment where everything stays the same, except one factor. Variable -A factor that can change in an experiment. Manipulated Variable -The variable that the scientist changes Responding Variable -The variable that changes because of the manipulated variable Scientific Theory -Well tested concept that explains a set of observations. Scientific Law -What is expected to happen during an experiment, under correct conditions.
