One survivor in both games
Both games took place in a remote area.
Both characters were hunters.
Both characters slept on trees.
Shelter and food become problematic for both characters.
They are both being abused and chased by people who want them dead!
Three days of training to prepare for the games.
They both had to escape from their hiding places. Ex. when Rainsford was chased by dogs and when Katniss was flushed out by the fire set up by the gamemakers.
Both characters received special treatments before the games
They were both given limitation on when and how to win the games.
Both characters survived and won.
The Most Dangerous Game
Happens every year.
There were twenty three contestants who wanted the main character dead.
The hunger games was shown on the media.
People were aware of the hunger games.
The games was made as a punishment to the twelve districts for an uprising that happened many years ago.
Contestants got gift from the outside.

There was only one contestant who wanted the main character dead.
The games wasn't shown on the media.
No one was aware of the General's game.
The games was made by a man(the General) who was bored of his prey.
Contestant was left alone after the three days of training without any help during the game.
Contestant killed the gamemaker.
Katniss Everdeen voluntarily takes her younger sister's place in the Hunger Games, a televised fight to the death in which two teenagers from each of the twelve Districts of Panem are chosen at random to compete.
An insane hunter gets bored of hunting animals and arranges for a ship to be wrecked on an island where he can indulge in the hunting of the passengers.
In a future world, North America as we know it has been destroyed and the continent is now divided into 12 regions. The capital of this new nation, Panem, and it's 12 districts are spread in descending order throughout the continent.The twelve districts were defeated after an uprising against the capital and as a punishment the hunger games was made.
"After the debacle in Russia I left the country, for it was imprudent for an officer of the Czar to stay there. Many noble Russians lost everything. I, luckily, had invested heavily in American securities, so I shall never have to open a tearoom in Monte Carlo drive a taxi in Paris."

The revolution opened the door for Russia to fully enter the industrial age.
