Rolling Plains Erosion Deposition Weathering Charcteristcs Elevation range of 900 feet in the northeast corner to 4,000 feet in the upper northeast. The topography is characterized as being rough terrain. The soil is considered neutral to alkaline,they have high fertility. It rains 22 to 30 inches per year. The process of weatered rock being moved from one place to another. By moving rocks and sediments in rolling plains it moves by wind gravity and if near water then waves. The process of weathered rock being moved from one place to another. Rock is broken down into small pieces and the chemical composition of rock is not changed.
