Celebrating and appreciating God's plan of a Gospel Team.
21 Timothy, my fellow worker, greets you; so do Lucius and Jason and Sosipater, my kinsmen.

A True Gospel Team:
Can transcend culture and race
Needs different gifts and abilities
Transcends wealth and status
Is not about fame or familiarity but unity and love in Christ
Is just that . . . a Team
a dream team
are you a faithful one?
Acts 13:1 "Now there were in the church at Antioch prophets and teachers, Barnabas, Simeon who was called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen a lifelong friend of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul."
Acts 19:21-22 "21 Now after these events Paul resolved in the Spirit to pass through Macedonia and Achaia and go to Jerusalem, saying, "After I have been there, I must also see Rome." 22 And having sent into Macedonia two of his helpers, Timothy and Erastus, he himself stayed in Asia for a while."
2 Timothy 2:1-2
"1 You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, 2 and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men, who will be able to teach others also."

"5 But the Jews were jealous, and taking some wicked men of the rabble, they formed a mob, set the city in an uproar, and attacked the house of Jason, seeking to bring them out to the crowd. 6 And when they could not find them, they dragged Jason and some of the brothers before the city authorities, shouting, "These men who have turned the world upside down have come here also, 7 and Jason has received them, and they are all acting against the decrees of Caesar, saying that there is another king, Jesus." 8 And the people and the city authorities were disturbed when they heard these things. 9 And when they had taken money as security from Jason and the rest, they let them go."
Generous people play a vital role in God's Gospel Team when they want their temporal goods to support, send, and provide safety for the team. It is not for their comfort or for consumption it is for God's consecration.
1 Corinthians 1:14
"I thank God that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius."
1. Paul baptized him; there is a closeness
2. This man is housing the church in Corinth where Paul is writing from
Hospitable people play a vital role in God's Gospel Team when they see their hearts and homes as safe havens and bases of spiritual warfare for other team members.
Paul uses a Scribe many times
1 Corinthians, Colossians, Philemon, 2 Thessalonians, and Galatians
1 Corinthians 12:21-22
"21 The eye cannot say to the hand, "I have no need of you," nor again the head to the feet, "I have no need of you." 22 On the contrary, the parts of the body that seem to be weaker are indispensable."
Serving people want the message to go out and are thrilled to see that happening and don't demand to be the one speaking it as long as they can play a role in its proclamation. Their time, energy, and investment is not for their reputation it is for God's use to glorify His name and expand His fame.
"9 Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. 10 For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! 11 Again, if two lie together, they keep warm, but how can one keep warm alone? 12 And though a man might prevail against one who is alone, two will withstand him-a threefold cord is not quickly broken."
1. It is God's designed means to do His work, He determines the people involved, He determines the roles (gifts), and He kindly involves us in His mission.
2. It is God's designed means to make the work more effective work.
3. It is God's designed means to encourage the fallen.
4. It is God's designed means to withstand the assaults of division against us.
5. It is God's designed means to showcase that His glory is worth more than you.
