My perceptions and me similarities
The similarities between my perceptions and me are that we both own a dog (63%) Own two T.V's, devices and WIFI. Own a big back yard with a dog and two cars. Would both be an australian citizen.
My perceptions, census data and me similarities
The similarities between my perceptions, me and the census data are they all are born in Australia. There parents are all married with kids. They live in a one story house with a dog, pool and a big backyard. They are Catholic and go to a Catholic school or high school.
My perceptions of a typical Australian
I think a typical Australian lives in the city in a two story house with three children aged six to ten. The children would go to a catholic school or high school and would play sport in and out of sport. The parents would be married, the Farther is a business worker and the Mother is a teacher. The family of five would go on holidays to the beach every term but if not the beach they would go overseas at the end of the year or at the start of the next year. The family would also go camping on long weekends or in the school holidays.
I have a family of six, four kids and two parents that are married. my family and I live in Kedron in Brisbane. In my house we own devices, T.V's, internet and wifi. I own a big backyard with a dog, but not a pool. I go to a Catholic school and learn a different language at school. My mum is a teacher and my dad is a business worker. My family and I go to the beach every term holidays.
My perceptions and census data similarities
The similarities between my perceptions and the census data are they live along the Australian coastline (83%). I thought the average Australian was married with three kids, but the average Australian actually only has two kids a boy and a girl aged six and nine. They are both catholic and go to a catholic school. The family owns a dog a big backyard and a pool. They are Australian citizens and no relatives live with them.
Me and census data similarities
The similarities between me and the census data are the average Australian is born in Australia and is a female. Go on holidays and are catholic, parents are married with kids. The family is all catholic and go to a catholic school or high school, the kids are in the process of making there first communion or have made there first communion already.

The average Australian is aged 30 to 40(27%) and live along the Australian coastline(83%) the average Australian lives in a two story hose with two cars. The Average Australian goes to Bali for a holiday (13%) and also go to New Zealand for a holiday (12%).
From the data I have collected describe the characteristics of an average Australian.
How are you an average australian? Discuss your similarities and differences from the data collected.
The average family
After I collected all my data I found out the average Australian is a female at the age of 37 years old.The average Australian is married with two children aged six and nine. The children go to a catholic school and are catholic. An average Australian lives in a one story house in New South Whales.
The average Australian owns a dog, a pool and a big backyard. I am a typical Australian in some ways but not in all ways. I am a female but i am eleven years of age. I am not married and there are four children in my family, two girls and two boys. I am typical because I am catholic and I go to a catholic school. I live in a two story house, not a one story house and I live in Brisbane, not New South Whales.
How has your perception changed of what is an average Australian?
Before I started my reasearch I thought an average Australian lived in Brisbane in a two story house. An average Australian would own two cars, one for the mother and one for the farther. I thought the average Australian is a male that is aged 30 to 40 years of age and is married with three kids. The average Australian would go on holidays to the beach every term, but if not they would go on a big holiday overseas at the end of the year or at the start of the next year.
