Henry Harris was an scientist and an professor that studied
CANCER and HUMAN GENETICS
but retired after a while. Henry s special influence in his career was Howard Florey who is a scientist too.

BIRTH
Henry Harris was born on the 28 January 1925 in a small town in Russia. Harris was only little when his family moved to Australia leaving him no memories of Russia
When Harris and his family moved to Australia it was because of the the starvation that happened in 1929 leaving everyone broke. Henrys dad was an inventive man and was able to create a little business which got his family a some money.

WHAT HE'S DONE FOR AUSTRALIA
Henry Harris has chosen his job as an Cancer researcher to help people with cancer and that are not ready to die yet. ( even though most people arnt at anytime) and might go in to depression. Hes helped the Australian life by at least trying to save people in need of help.

Harris went to a few schools. He went to Aubum public school, Kensington public school, bondi public school and Sydney Boys High school.
He went to the University of Sydney and also moved to England to study at Sir William Dunn school of Pathology in Oxford. Harris also said he was the first child in his family to go to University.
