We wanted to know how different types of sponsorships and sponsorships in general effect products and business.
Our topic was on how different types of sponsoring effects the product or businesses. Companies spend billions of dollars each year on both of the types we covered. Celebrity endorsements are where brands pay a celebrity to advertise for their product or brand. Business also use sports marketing to improve brand image and advertise. Both types of sponsorships improve sales and ROI.
In 2013 20 billion dollars were used by American companies on sports sponsorships deals.
Sponsorships are a type of marketing where companies pay famous persons or a famous group of people to advertise for their product or advertise to their fans.
Frequency of use
In 2006 between 2 and 3 billion dollars were spent on celebrity ads and in 2013 20 billion dollars were spent on sports sponsorship agreements.
Celebrity in ads help the
product/brand because people who follow or support
these celebrities want to get the exact same thing or be like them. ( If the person wants to be like the celebrity they use the same thing as the celebrities, maybe a clothing brand or something.)
