As a child he grew up in nightclubs and has performed many songs. Michael was in a band named "The Jackson 5" with his 4 brothers Jackie, Tito Jermaine and Randy Jackson. Their first single, "I Want You Back," hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in January 1970. Michael Jackson became an American singer, songwriter, record producer, dancer, and actor. "The King of Rock and Roll", Elvis Presley was born on January 8th 1935. On October 3rd 1945 ten-year-old Elvis stands on a chair singing "Old Shep" in a youth talent contest. After winning 5th prize he receives $5.00. This is Elvis's first public musical performance. His parents couldn't afford the bicycle Elvis wanted so instead they bought him a guitar. He grew more passion for music as he performed more songs on his guitar such as "Leaf on a Tree". On Elvis's first year at Humes High School, Elvis nervously sings with his guitar at a student talent show. Surprisingly he gets more applause then anyone, and wins. Then preforms and encore. On June 3rd, 1953 Elvis graduates from Humes High School. Elvis Presley becomes an American singer and actor. Elvis had one daughter Lisa Marie Presley. Elvis Presley passed away on August 16th 1977.
