Meaning of the song :ACE
Assert- I Think the song is about a man who lost a friend and felt that the person was consider family to him and that they were friends for a long time and they have been through many hard times in life together. Then they will see each other again when they both meet in heaven. (tribute to Paul Walker)

Cite/Explain- There are many meaningful lines in the song...
Now i see you in a better place
(Meaning he is in heaven in the afterlife)
Family's all we got
(Meaning that family is all that they care about)
everything I've been through you were standing there next to my side
(Meaning they were always together and never left each other side's)
Now you gonna be with me for the last ride
(Meaning that this was the last time they would be together)

It's been a long day without you my friend
(Meaning that it was a hard day to go through without his friend)
And I'll tell you all about it when i see you again
(Meaning that when they both see each other in heaven, they would talk about everything)
See You Again by Wiz Khalifa ft. Charlie Puth

Literary Devices
Rhyming Couplet- ("All the planes we flew, good things we've been through")Wiz Khalifa uses rhyming couplet to show the texture of the history of the line. This was to show that they did many things together and that many of the outcomes were good at the end.

Alliteration- ("...On our own") This sentence could be considered an alliteration because Wiz used an alliteration to give the letter "O" an amount of emphasis to make it stand out from the meaning of the song.

Hyperbole- ("How could we not talk about family when family's all that we got?") This verse could also be considered a hyperbole because it shows a huge exaggeration from talking about a friend being part of your family; which is not possibly unless you're "blood related".

Flashback- ("Damn, who knew?,All the planes we flew, Good things we've been through, That I'll be standing right here talking to you, 'Bout another path, I know we loved to hit the road and laugh, But something told me that it wouldn't last, Had to switch up, Look at things different see the bigger picture, Those were the days") Wiz uses a flashback to show how close they were as friends. By using a flashback, this showed the bond and relationship of the two friends.

Allusion- ("And I'll tell you all about it when I see you again") An allusion is a figure of speech or a metaphor. Charlie Puth uses an allusion to talk about how he will meet his friend in heaven and tell him about everything.
What is poetry?
Poetry- "literary work in which special intensity is given to the expression of feelings and ideas by the use of distinctive style and rhythm"

Since poetry is the expression of feelings in a distinctive rhythm, I think the song "See you again" by Wiz Khalifa ft.Charlie Puth, is considered poetry. I think this because in the song, they are expressing their feelings towards their friend who passed away.
