How to Prezi?
You will be assigned to an Aztec, Mayan or Incan team. On your team, you will find several "experts" (mathematician, historian, antrhopologist, archeologist) Collect information, gather photos and collect "artifacts" in your interest area. With your group, compile all information and prepare a Prezi presentation of findings for the class.
First prepare your own oral presentation for your specialty area.
All four group members will give their part of the presentation
Presentations will be in class Wednesday January 22 and Thursday January 23
Everyone in the class will watch your presentation
Spend 2-3 days researching from books and internet.
You must have your information BEFORE you start creating the Prezi
The Process and Directions
Choose your civilization
Each group member must select one "specialty" area
Keep an "ejournal" of information, pictures and websites visited
Prepare Prezi presentation
Present Presentation to class
You can log into Prezi at home too
Make sure all group members are added to the Prezi project
You will have an individual grade for your portion of the project and a group grade for the completed Prezi
Research portion--20 points
Oral Presentation--30 points
Prezi Presentation--70 points
Your individual part of the prezi--30 points
Total of 150 points
You will be evaluated on the thoroughness, accuracy and pride taken in completing your presentation, recreation of your ancient civlization and how efficiently and cooperatively you worked with your team
--You will turn in your "student journals"
--project must be completed on time
--project must be thorough
