The effects on our fellow Americans
Millions of lives ruined
The US has the highest prison population in the world; 500,000+ in jail for drug violations alone (Branson)
The absence of necessary medical attention to victims of drug abuse
Instead they are thrown them in jail as if they are animals
The disastrous financial effects
$1 Trillion+ have been exhausted because of the Drug War since 1971

The War on Drugs must end.
Is this really what we've come to accept?

Decriminalization
The Portuguese Solution
Laws and Policies that actually WORK!

Decriminalization of ALL drugs (in between legal and illegal)
Competent availability of medical assistance and rehab
Serious crimes like drug trafficking remain illegal as ever

Despite this, drug statistics continue to surge in the US..
