He put football, soccer, and hockey together and got the first version of basketball.He invented it because the school he worked at was in desperate need of a winter sport.Colleges started playing the game between the years of 1893 and 1895 and as we know most colleges still play it today. The umpire may throw the ball in a certain occasions. If either side keeps delaying the game it counts as a foul on that side. 10.The umpire's call is final.
