The sun is the center of the solar system, which means that all of the planets revolve around it. It is around 15 million degrees Celcius in the center and almost 150 million kms from Earth! All of the planets in our solar system revolve around the sun. There are eight planets :
Mercury
Venus
Earth
Mars
Jupiter
Saturn
Uranus
Neptune
The first four are made up of rock and have few or no moons (Earth only has one moon). The last four are huge balls of gas with rings around them and lots of moons.
