Transcript of Galen

Galen Galen was born in AD 129 in Greese. He began to study medicine at the age of 16. He vistied the school at Alexandria in Egypt. In AD 162 he travelled to rome, He soon became a famous doctor to the Roman emperor and teacher of other doctors. You have to much phlegm which is cold and wet, you must take something hot and fiery. Try a pepper ! Galen's Idea's The pig squirmed! Galen cut into a pigs neck and he found nerves. When he cut a nerve the pig squealed. He then said 'When i cut this nerve which controls the pigs voice it will not squeal' The pig did not squeal!
