"The number part of a fraction that is o the line " For Example :In the fraction 2/7 , 7 is that denominator and 2 is the numerator .
" 2 or more numbers multiplied together to get a product "
"The number that is dividing another number "
Fraction is like a slice of pizza.
"The number part of a fraction on top of the line of a fraction"
For Example : In the fraction 4/6 4 is the numerator and the bottom is the denominator .
For Example : 10 x 2 = 20 so 20 is a multiple of 2 because 2 x 10 = 20 .
For Example : 2 x 6 = 12 so, 2 and 6 are factors and 12 is a product . :
For Example : if I divide a square in half and it's equal like a fraction it's called symmetrical . It would be a line of symmetry . If it is not equal it would be called asymmetrical .
For Example : 28 ÷ 7 = 4 so in that problem 7 would be the divisor .
" The number that is getting divided in a dividion problem . " For Example : 18 ÷6 = 3 so 18 would be the dividend .
Composite Number
"A number that has more than one factor that goes into a number ." For Example : 12 would be a composite and on the other hand 3 would not be
Prime Number
" A prime number is a number that has only 2 factors - 1 and the number it's self . " For Example : 2 is a prime number while 20 isn't .
