eNETS NETs debit A nationwide infrastructure that enables consumers to make purchases at retail counters using their ATM cards.

Through NETS Debit, NETS is pioneering the way towards a more convenient, cash-free society.

Just three years ago, 55% of all transactions were cash; today, it is down to 40% NETs cashcard 6.5 million active cards in circulation

The NETS Cashcard is one of the most commonly accepted prepaid stored value card in Singapore.

Used extensively for retail purchases, traffic tolls for the Electronic Road Pricing System (ERP), and car park fees.

NETS CashCard serves as a convenient payment method for transactions ranging from as little as S$0.01 to S$500, eliminating the need to carry cash.

The stored value card can also be personalised with a photo or name on the NETS website.

NETS can tie the NETS CashCard to a bank account or credit card, initiating an auto top-up facility for cardholders and children or consumers who do not own a bank account. mNETS mNETS is a new service that NETS is offering on the mobile platform to benefit consumers and merchants.


The technology, which transforms an NFC-enabled phone into a mobile wallet, is known as Near Field Communications (NFC). Making a payment is as simple as tapping the NFC-enabled phone on a NETS FlashPay contactless reader.


A mobile wallet that is installed on the NFC-enabled phone stores “electronic cash” that is utilised for payment.




eNETS eNETS is the leading online payment gateway in Singapore, offering online credit card and direct debit products. It enables payment from all major International credit cards.

eNETS provides merchants with greater flexibility by accepting most major credit and charge cards. It also offers different front-end options, including a merchant’s own payment page, virtual terminal, and a customisable order and payment page for merchants that do not have a shopping cart.

eNETS also offers Direct Debit, which enables Internet Banking users to make payment from their bank account on a real-time basis. As no credit cards are involved, this product is useful for the youths who may not hold a credit card.

Currently, all users of DBS/POSB, UOB or Citibank Internet Banking can pay for goods and services via eNETS’ Direct Debit service. This translates to a coverage of more than 90% of all Internet Banking users in Singapore.

eNETS Pte Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of NETS, has wholly owned subsidiaries in Malaysia, Hong Kong and Macau, which enable the company to serve regional customers. Yellow Ribbon Cause NETS, incorporated the Yellow Ribbon Project into its umbrella of adopted charities with a social vision of providing ex-offenders a second chance at life and become self sufficient.

Aims to help the less privileged in society by incorporating social entrepreneurship at the heart of its business, and making positive and tangible transformations to people’s lives.

As the local job market tightens up given the current economic condition, it is already an uphill task for normal people to seek employment with companies, let alone the Yellow Ribbon members who have a record.

NETS endeavors to provide them with an opportunity to get on-the-job-training and ultimately employment within the company. This will act as a pillar of hope for inmates and ex-offenders, and serve to encourage them in their rehabilitation.

NETS will help ex-offenders get a fresh start and begin life all over again with their families.

This gesture spells a new lease of life and will help them in their journey towards leading normal lives in the society.
Social Innovation Park Ltd (SIP), in partnership with NETS, had launched a special edition of NETS CashCards featuring original artworks by Pop and Talent Hub (PaTH) Talents on 25 October 2008.

NETS CashCards serves as a good motivation and affirms PaTH Talents of the unlimited possibilities ahead of them.

The public becomes more aware of these local talents,and it is a step closer to being a more inclusive society where every one's potential can be recognized and appreciated.

CCF is a non-profit organisation that aims to improve the quality of lives of children with cancer and their families through enhancing their emotional, social and medical well-being.

CCF has helped more than 1400 children and their families since 1996

NETS will take part in public education programmes to raise awareness about the illness and encourage active volunteerism amongst its staff members.

It will also assist in raising funds for children’s treatment and lend a hand to help ease the financial pinch that parents grapple with due to the steep cost of medical treatments.

NETS staff volunteers will devote their time to relieving the parents, who struggle to balance time at work, at home and at the centre as they attend to the well being of their sick child. They will raise awareness about the ailment, assist those children who have trailed behind in schoolwork while undergoing treatment and thus, make their transition back to their schools faster and easier.
