Transcript of Aviation by Kelsey and Brianna

By: Kelsey and Brianna Aviation Bernoulli's Theory History of Flight Different Types of Aviation Daniel Bernoulli discovered a theory which is named
after Daniel, (Bernoulii's Theory). Bernoulli discovered that the pressure of a fluid decreases when it's speed or velocity increase. The Wright Brothers made the first airplane. It was flown in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. They got the idea from observing birds fly. Many types of aviation were discovered in the time periods of 400 BC - the 1850's. Lift, Drag, Thrust, and Weight (gravity) Lift is the thing that pulls up an airplane. Drag is what pulls back the airplane. Thrust is what pushes
the airplane forward. Weight is what pulls the airplane down. Lift, Drag, Thrust and Weight are all forces that help the airplane have a successful flight. Without all of these, airplanes would not be flying today. Hot Air Balloon Helicopter Jets Airplane Special thanks to one of our favorite teachers Mrs. Simmons!!
