De Angeli Prodotti is developing a new technology of wire that allows to obtain the
same performances
as the standard enamelled wire but with
lower overall dimension
.
An interesting subject to improve the efficiency of electric motors.
ADVANTAGES
Our laboratory tests shown that LL Family significantly improves dielectric performance under continuous electrical solicitation. In this field
LL Grade 2 performance is comparable to a standard Grade 3 wire at 4 and 8kV
.
Other test performed at 4 kV confirm this behaviour and
show that LL Family can resist five times the standard wire
. This means less coatings, longer life and higher filling factors.
ENGINEERING
De Angeli Prodotti is developing a new technology looking towards a new solution:
a
thin layer of paint
is deposed on the conductor, by enamelling the varnish on it.
After this phase, a curing is necessary to allow the paint to adhere to the surface and
obtain the desired performances.
INTRODUCTION
COOLING DUCT CTC
High cooling efficiency
High power transformers are subject to energy losses due to the rise up of resistivity together with the temperature.
De Angeli Prodotti is developing a new technology allowing to
obtain the highest cooling efficiency in paperless CTC
.

ADVANTAGES
Paperless CTCs allow to
increase the thermal transmission of the cable
and the heat can flow more easily from the conductor to the oil.
The insertion of the spacers allows to reach an
higher cooling efficiency
because the surface’s heat exchange is higher and the oil can pass through the cable refrigerating it.
These expedient r
educe the conductor’s operating temperature and its electrical resistance
this is one of the key solutions to reduce losses and to improve the overall efficiency of the transformers.

ENGINEERING
De Angeli Prodotti is developing an innovative paperless CTC cable: a different number of rectangular cross section wire are transposed together in a special machine.
In this process,
some wood spacers are inserted in the middle of the cable
and, after this step, a couple of polyester wire is wounded around the CTC to ensure its stability.

INTRODUCTION
We transformed the best concept in reality, reaching
on Aluminium CTC mechanical performances comparable to copper
, with our award-winning Aluminium-Alloy CTC.
ADVANTAGES
Aluminium is the right solution where electrodynamic stresses always suggested to use hardened copper.

Where others don't
High voltage transformers are subject, during their lifetime usage, to mechanical stress caused by internal forces between strips and short circuits.
De Angeli Prodotti has developed a new technology allowing to
obtain with a standard ETP copper, the same mechanical performances as copper-silver alloys
.

ADVANTAGES
ETP plus allows to reach and maintain inside the transformer high proof stress ensuring excellent electric conductivity.
ENGINEERING
De Angeli Prodotti has developed an alternative solution, allowing copper flat wires and transposed cables to reach mechanical properties
comparable to CuAg alloy
. ETP plus gives you high tensile strength with low decay of mechanical properties during usage. The main characteristic of this technology is the very high proof stress maintened also after the station for long times at high temperatures.
