DUBSTEP Dubstep, a genre of dance music from London. Dubstep is described as "overwhelming bass lines and reverberant drum patterns" Skream, Benga, N Type, Walsh, Chef, Loefah and Cyrus were pioneers of the dubstep scene in london Dubstep rhythms are usually syncopated, and often shuffled or incorporating tuplets. The tempo is nearly always in the range of 138-142bpm The influence of dubstep on more commercial or popular genres can be identified as far back as 2007, with artists such as Britney Spears using dubstep sounds Rihanna's Rated R album containing 3 dubstep tracks, was released the very year dubstep saw a spike Other hip-hop artists added their vocals to dubstep instrumental tracks for the mixtape Mr Grustle & Tha Russian Dubstep LA Embrace The Renaissance Innovators like Skrillex, Rusko, Nero, Deadmau5, Feed Me, and many other DJ's have brought dubstep to the whole world through remixes and their own releases.
