What is a verb?
A Verb usually tells about an action or a state and is the main part of a sentence

*The alarm clock buzzed like an angry bumblebee.

What is an adverb?

An adverb is a word or phrase that is used to modify a verb, adjective, or other adverb. Most, but NOT ALL, adverbs end in -ly

An adjective is a word that modifies a noun or pronoun.

What is a pronoun?

Pronoun
A pronoun is a word that is used to take the place of a noun. They make sentences shorter and easier to say.
He, she, it, we, you, they, etc.


Conjunction
What is a conjunction?
A conjunction is a word or phrase that shows the relationship between two works, phrases, or clauses* of equal rank. The relationship may give information about time, reason, agreement/disagreement, or order of events.

Interjection

What is an interjection?

An interjection is a word that expresses a strong feeling or command. They have no grammatical relation to the rest of the sentence.
Order of Adjectives
Ordering takes practice. Numbers come before opinions, which come before size, which comes before age, and so on.
Comparative Adjectives
A comparative adjective is used to make a comparison between two things. This comparison may show
equality
or
inequality
between two things
Superlative
Adjective

A superlative adjective is used to indicate that
one thing
has some feature to a greater or lesser degree than
all others
(in a given context). For example, if Jade is 16, Annie is 15, and Gavi is 14, then Jade is the oldest in the group.

Preposition
What is a preposition?
A preposition is a word that shows the relationship between its object and some other word in a sentence.
