Areas The Sales team are the people
who sell the products to
the customers. Sales! The Manufacturing team produce all the products that are sold within the store.
They work with the Sales team so they know how many more products they need to make with all new demands.
They also work with the Finance team as they need to make sure the business has enough money to pay them once they have made all the products.
BACA has different manufacturing teams as they have products such as uniform or foor brought into the school. Manufacturing The Marketing team are the people who
promote the business by advertising.
They work with the Finance team as they need to know how much money is available for them to spend on advertising.
They also work with the Sales team as they work on new promotions on products that are doing well
At BACA they do not have a Marketing team but they have people who advertise things such as promoting the school a example for this is sixth form advertisement or writing information for the newspaper about the school. Marketing The Finance team look after all the money of the business by working out how much profits they made and who needs to be paid. The Administration team do a range of different jobs which include advertising new job vacancy's and advertising new staff training.
The Administration team at BACA would be all the staff that work in the office, they are in charge of keeping track on any visitors that come into the school, they keep track of students and take calls that need messages passed on to teachers.
Administration Purchasing team within any business would mean that they have a record of what was purchased during the week etc.
They can also see what products are doing well and what isnt so they can work out if to sell that product anymore.
The Purchasing team at BACA would be someone who just keeps track of all products that are brought into the school making sure they have enough. They would work with the finance team to make sure they have enough money to buy in more products when needed. They work with other functional areas within the business for example they work with the Finance team as they have to know how much money is available to spend on ordering new stock.
BACA doesnt have a sales team but they do however sale products such as uniform or equipment but this is for the purpose of their education. Finance The Finance team work with every other department as they are in charge of making sure every employee gets paid, they make sure the business is making a profits and if not help work out how to make more profits.
BACA's finance team look after all the money that will provide new equipment, staff, school trips and they look for grants for the school. Purchasing
