Transcript of Fascinating Facts about Redheads

Redheads or Gingers can
produce their own vitamin
D and don't need extra help
from the Great outdoors.
That's why they sunburn
quicker and more easily than
other people and are more
prone to having skin cancer.
Redheads are more sensitive
to thermal pain than others be-
cause their bodies adapt faster
to hot and colds. It has also
been found that during surgeries
and the like, gingers require 20%
more anesthesia than other
hair colors.
Red hair is a genetic mutation. To have a child with
red hair there must be 2 red hair genes which could be hidden away in ANYONE, but just not show up for a few generations. For ex-
ample: a woman with blond hair
and a man with brown COULD
have a child with red!
Red hair keeps its natural pigment longer than other
hair types. Which means they have a longer time be
for they go grey. Their hair will go from a ginger, to a light copper, to a strawberry blond and then into a silvery white. So don't stress about it :]
And their fascinating ways
Only 2 out of every 100 people in the world have red hair, and it is the hardest dyed color to maintain, so you will automatically know a fake from a true red
Red hair and blue eyes is the rarest combination in the world. And if you stare into a redhead's blue eyes for 10 seconds...you'll fall in love <3
Ancient Greeks believed
that redheads would
turn into vampires after
their deaths. But we all
know that's not true........
