Welcome to the
Where are the LRCs, and when are they open?
Lansdowne LRC (Bournemouth) and North Road LRC (Parkstone, Poole) opening hours:
08.30 - 19.00 Monday to Thursday
09.00 - 17.00 Friday
What is available?
We have many different resources that you can use, for example:
How do I use the library catalogue?
my.BPC -> LRC -> Library catalogue
What else can LRC staff help me with?
Finding and using e-resources
Vacation hours vary: see LRC publications or ask a member of staff
Items can be borrowed for:
2 weeks (Standard loan, no label)
1 week (Short loan, green label)
Reference only (blue label)
IT equipment for 2 hours

What can I use my student ID for?
Your student ID is your computer login and also gives you access to all LRC services, including:
Your PIN number is your date of birth in the format DDMMYY
You can also use the LRC pages on
my.BPC to access our online
databases
What computer facilities are available?
All three college LRC's have a number of desktop PCs available for student use. Constitution Hill LRC also has Apple Macs.

Laptops can be borrowed at all sites provided you have a current college ID card.
You can also use your own laptops and other
wireless devices (tablets, phones etc)

Constitution Hill LRC (Parkstone, Poole) is open:

Fines are charged at 20p per item per day!
