2008 Discipleship Survey results
According to the pastors surveyed…
Less than 40% of their adults are regularly serving in the church.
Only about half of their adult congregants are baptized in the Holy Spirit.
Only about half of attendees are involved in small group or Sunday School ministry
Only 17% of pastors strongly agreed that most attendees of their church are comfortable with their ability to share their Faith.
Half of all pastors surveyed said they did nothing to evaluate their congregations progress in discipleship.
About 30% of our pastors are reporting numerical decline.
