Guatemala has a total land area of 108,430 square kilometers. That is slightly smaller than the state of Tennessee. Neighboring Guatemala are the countries of El Salvador, Belize, Honduras, and Mexico. This country is mostly made up of mountainous land with a few plains along the coast.
