FRIDAY 21st JUNE 'A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S SCREAM' A festival of fantasy and horror, Thurso, 21-23 June 2013 SATURDAY 22nd JUNE SUNDAY 23rd JUNE ZOMBIE RUN
HORROR / FANTASY WORKSHOP Local hotel to host
a pasta buffet for
up to fifty participants -
perhaps with live entertainment or a DJ. Horror fancy dress theme. Hotel partner needed. Thurso Cinema to show 'World War Z' Needing partners to take on :
Beach BBQ - outside vendor or someone along run route... other stalls?
Day-long all-ages event - Live bands or themed DJ playlists - also hosting Kelly's SFX make-up workshop. Thurso Zombie Run - organised by
North Coast Leisure Centre
A 5k run around a prearranged route in Thurso with obstacles and a chasing pack of zombies. Zombie workshop - run by Eden Court
David Hunter from Eden Court will show you how to move, walk, eat and think like a zombie, ready for the run. Kelly Tadd will also be on hand to make you look the part. earlier in JUNE Short story contest
Zombie workshop Horror Short Story Contest with Blue Door Coffee Shop
Three categories - under 12yrs, 12-18yrs, 18+. Contest will be advertised in schools and judged by a respected panel. Readings from short story competition across the weekend. Closing date for entries 7th June.
