Who are we?
We are here to support healthcare staff and students throughout North Staffordshire.
And supply learning resources for Keele University staff and students as well as for NHS staff working in North Staffordshire organisations.

Here you will find Keele and NHS networked PCs, as well as printing and scanning facilities.
Joining the Health Library
Keele members are joined automatically as part of their course.
NHS members will need to complete an application form. Please bring you NHS ID badge with you.

Get Help from Professional Staff
Our staff are here to help you to find and access resources, as well as develop your information skills
You can use our photocopiers for a small charge.
Payment can be made via cash, your Keele card or your NHS library card. Re-loader machines are available to add credit to your card.
You can borrow and books via the self-service machine or the main counter.
The number of books you are allowed and the loan periods available will depend on the type of membership you have.

We have study space in the rotunda, as well as in the silent study room.
The NHS Outreach Service supports NHS staff working in the community. They can help to deliver library resources and services in your workplace.
Searching the Catalogue
The catalogue holds information about all our books, ebooks, print journals and DVDs. You search it to find items within the library. It also includes details of items at the Campus Library. These are also available to you.

Print Journal archive Collection
You can find the print journal archives in the inner circle in the rotunda. Some older collections are held in the library store - ask at the counter
You can find the book collection in the outer ring of the rotunda. The collection is organised by subject and arranged in class mark order.
