Arab-Israeli Conflict When did the Arab-Israeli Conflict begin && why did it begin?

The conflict began at the end of the 19th
century or 1948. The conflict has been going on for so long because the Jewish people want their homeland back, but the Arabs dont want them there because they want to stay where they are right now. They are fighting over Palestine. The movement that the Jews are are focused on is Zionism which is the Jewish movement back to their homeland.

Why have efforts to resolve the conflict and establish peace failed?

Because the meaning of ‘peace’ to the Israeli differs from the definition of ‘peace’ to the Palestinians

In your opinion, particularly based on recent acts of violence in the Middle East, do you feel the conflict can be resolved?

I’m not sure if it can be resolved. Because they both [Israeli and Palestinian] claim the land to be theirs, so I really can’t say whether or not it can be solved. I would like to think that the problem can be solved, because in my opinion, I would like peace all over this world. So I want it to stop.

Which areas of land are in despuite? Based On your research, whom do you view as the rightful owners of the land?

Capitol, Gaza Strip, West Bank are all in despute On both sides they are saying that the land is theirs on both sides, and that they are the rightfull owners. I think that it can be both and there is no right ful owner land is land. As for the resolving conflict, they have yet to come to an agrement own who gets what since they both believe it is all theirs.
