A research hypothesis is the statement created by researchers when they speculate upon the outcome of a research or experiment.
A research problem is a statement about an area of concern, a condition to be improved upon, a difficulty to be eliminated, or a troubling question that exists in scholarly literature, in theory, or in practice that points to the need for meaningful understanding and deliberate investigation.
Using the specific problems/objectives as basis, he tests the hypotheses, either null (H0) or alternative(H1), to have a scientific conclusion of the study either to reject or accept it.

2 days were spent in teaching objective number 4 "multiply one digit number." There are 30 items for the whole unit. Therefore, 30 divided 10 days is equal to 3 which is the ratio of items to the number of days present.
Multiply the ratio (3) by 2 (number of days spent in teaching the particular objective) = 6. Therefore, the teacher has to prepare 6 items for the 4th objective. The number inside the parenthesis ( ) indicates the item number in the test. Item number 7 to 12 in the test will be on multiplication of a one digit number and not on other objectives.
Research process is a process consisting of series of action or steps necessary to effectively carry out research and desired sequencing of this steps.
