Early stages of the Band by: Cooper
The start of the Band begun with Michael Balzary, Anthony Kiedis and Hillel Slovak as they met in high school and soon began to play with drummer Jack Irons and this lead to the name of Tony Flow & the Miraculously Majestic Masters of Mayhem. By 1983 Balzary had begun to go by the name Flea and the group changed its name to the Red Hot Chili Peppers.Flea and Kiedis were dealt with a horrible shock when both Slovak and Irons announced that they were leaving to focus more on another band they were in.

The New Band by: Cooper
New members came in as Jack Sherman playing the guitar and Cliff Martinez playing the drums filling in the Peppers released their self-titled debut in 1984. After releasing another album Slovak and Irons returned to the band. The band was still not good enough until their next album the in 1987 The Uplift Mofo Party Plan. This album made them famous to the world and just when they thought they were good tragedy struck.

Tragedy By: Cooper
Tragedy struck when Slovak died from a heroin overdose on June 25, 1988. When slovak died, Irons left the group for the second and final time. Kiedis (who was also doing drugs) and Flea decided to keep going.

The RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS sold over a million songs throughout the world inspiring young children among the world. Their most popular songs were Calfornication, Cant stop, and Under the Bridge. The Red Hot Chili Peppers went through trile and error, from scaling the heights to addicting drugs they pushed through to reach the peak.
With Hillel Slovak dead and Jack Irons gone the Red Hot Chili Peppers were in a search for a new drummer and guitarist. During that time John Anthony Frusciante had Jammed with Flea and said to Anthony Keidis he was right for the band. And for the new drummer they decided to do an audition and Chadwick Gaylord Smith had been the one who had made it into the band.

The Discovery of ther Red Hot Chili Pepper started in 1991 by their new album "Blood Sugar Sex Magik", and other songs like "Under The Bridge" and "Give it Away." These songs had lead the Red Hot Chili Peppers to create a world tour, which molded them into their fame. In the tour the band had gained more popularity making them well known around the world. During the tour John Frusciante had left and Arik Marshall took his place for a year and soon Dave Navarro.
