SAP Established in 1972 by five ex-workers of IBM, SAP (Systems, Applications, Products in Data Processing) is the worldwide business software solutions leader, providing solutions that integrate company processes and transcend company limits.

Functionalities Integration SAP Provides multiple languages and multiple currencies in every implementation. SAP Offers procedural and technical tools as well as implementation accelerators, to migrate on easy way from previous system to new one SAP handles in a seamless way all information regarding the processes of the company. SAP R/3 offers an unified user experience through the use of a Graphical User Interface (SAP GUI) which facilitates the use for new users, and helps the performance of experienced users. SAP R/3 is designed to become the sole provider of consolidated information for the whole enterprise.

Efficiency and productivity are improved through the integration of information and the removal of duplicate information and processes. R/3 is designed from its inception to work in a client-server infrastructure, offering great scalability and redundancy. A generic copy of SAP R/3 provides a starting point for most businesses. However, some companies (because of the nature of their business) can benefit from starting with a version of SAP R/3 that has been customized for their industry. Such versions are called Industry Solutions. Within the main characteristics of this module we found:

This module provides useful administrative information for the decision making, facilitates the coordination, the monitoring and the optimization of all the processes in the organization. This module helps to optimize all the tasks and activities in sales, offices and invoicing.
It allows the organizations to assign delivery dates in real time and to create orders from any channel and, at the same time, to improve the processes of manufacture, storage and transport.

Ability to obtain the availability and location of finished component products and capacities of machinery.
Its operation is sustained on master data.
It involves the transport management, it includes planning and programming.
