"oo", "ue", "ew" and "ui" can all make the same sound
A prefix is a word part that is added to the beginning of a word.
"dis" means not or the opposite of
"un" means not or the opposite of
"re" means again
An adverb can tell about a verb by telling HOW something happens.
This type of adverb usually ends with "ly".
Plot and Theme
A plot is what happens at the beginning, middle, and end of a story.
The theme is the "big idea" what the author wants the reader to learn. This is also the lesson in the story.
mountain - a high, steep hill that is often rocky
prize - something given to someone as a reward
cliffs - steep rock faces, like those at the edge of the sea
rainbow - a display of many colors
suffer - to experience something bad or unpleasant
volcano - a cone-shaped mountain with a hole in the top that sends out melted rock and glass
