First Beatitude
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Second Beatitude
Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted. A modern day example of the second beatitude is someone losing a loved one and God providing them to be united in Heaven. The COPE Foundation helps you grieve and heal after losing a loved one.
Fourth Beatitude
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.
Fifth Beatitude
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
Sixth Beatitude
Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God.
Eighth Beatitude
Blessed are they who are persecuted for the sake of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Third Beatitude
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. A modern day example of this beatitude can be a group of people who give clothes to a shelter. You can give your clothes to the Mary Mother of Hope House which is a homeless shelter in Delaware.
Seventh Beatitude
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be children of God. A modern day example of this beatitude is two friends letting go of a grudge and forgiving one another. Friendship Charity Association is an organization that strengthens other organizations, donors, and volunteers in the community
Modern Day Beatitudes

A modern day example of this beatitude is someone who prays everyday for others and not themselves, the National Prayer Bank is an organization that you can send in prayers for those in need.
A modern day example of the fourth beatitude is a person who stands up for someone being bullied at school. To help stop bullying you can become a member of the International Bullying Prevention Association.
An example of this beatitude in modern day is by forgiving someone at anytime which is showing mercy. Values in Action is an organization that helps build character and strengthen your traits.
A modern day example of this beatitude is someone standing up for what they believe in no matter what the consequence is. The Confidence Foundation helps others stand up for everything they believe in without others judging them.
A modern day example of this beatitude is a child who does a good act without expecting a reward in return. The Good Deeds Organisation is a popular website you can go on to submit good deeds you have done for others.
