By 1964, The Beatles were international stars and spent 2 years touring the world performing their hits The band broke up in late 1969. The last few recording sessions were ones of high tension and disagreement among the band members. All of The Beatles went on to make solo albums after the band broke up I Want to Hold Your Hand voted the number 2 best Beatles song by Rolling Stone Yesterday McCartney's song that is one of the most covered songs in history. Original name 'Scrambled Eggs' A Hard Day's Night Written for the film. Became a top hit song in both the UK and US. The have received 7 Grammy's and 15 of Britains music awards In 2008, The Beatles were number one in Billboard Magazine's list of all-time-best-selling Hot 100 artists. Included in Time Magazine's article of the 20th Century's most influential people The Beatles still hold the record for the most number one hits on the Hot 100 chart with 20 number one hits. Objective: I can talk about why The Beatles are considered master/revolutionary.
