However not all zoos are bad. Some do it for profit but there are some zoos that give animals lots of space and take care of the animals
They can become
bored
and
lonely
and many even suffer from a condition called
“zoochosis.”

Some animals are so unhappy that they
risk their lives
in desperate attempt to free themselves.

Animals might not be able to speak but they certainly have other ways of communicating.
Most animals use body language as well as sound and smell in order to communicate.

Captive animals don’t get to choose their mates, and they are sometimes artificially made
pregnant
so that their babies can be
sold
or
traded
.
This often results in miscarriages, death at birth, or the mother’s rejection of her young.
How do animals communicate?
Of course they do. Animals can feel a lot of emotions, such as
happiness, sadness, empathy, grief, curiosity, anger, anxiety and fear.

Do animals have emotions?
Here is a video about animal emotion.
Animals are unable to
thrive
in small enclosures, especially with
unnatural
weather and climates.
Not every member of a species is alike. Animals in different regions have different dialects.
