Identity By- Ted Dekker Main Characters- Christy Snow
Austin Hartt (Christy's Friend) Christy is a 17 year-old orphan. She wears a locket that holds nothing but a stock photo that holds her missing past. Christy visits an abandoned hospital basement with Austin to look around and loses her locket. She then revisits the basement the next day in hopes to find her locket. She ends up being trapped in what seems to be a coffin. While in the coffin she discovers her identity, along with all her insecurities. She breaks through and ends up in a St. Matthews psychiatric Ward. Austin comes looking for her and they both find themselves labeled as "delusional patients" with completely different names and their true identities are just wiped away.
