New to the UF Libraries?
We're glad you found us :o)
There are some things you should know.
Like how there are
& Fine Arts
Legal Information Center
Marston Science Library
What can I do at the libraries, you ask?
Well, what would you like to do?
Great! There are comfy study spaces and computers in every library. Marston, the Education Library, and Library West even have group study rooms.
Ok! There's a black and white printer/copier in every library, $.10/page.
Marston and AFA have a color printer/copier, $.50/page. You pay using
your Gator vending account.
You can do that, too! Use the library catalog to find books by title, author,
or subject. You can find articles using databases. Check your library subject guide to find the best article database for your topic.
What's a call number?
It's like a book's personal street address on book shelves. It's how you find the book you're looking for!
And there are two kinds:
Library of Congress
The library collections
You want to study!
You want to look up books and articles!
You want to print!
what exactly is IN the libraries?
